Do you think there should be a forum for youth and college activists to critically discuss the issues facing them as organizers?

Do you think it's about time youth stopped relearning the same lessons that activists in the 60s went through, and instead engaged in critical dialogue across issues to build a strong, united Left?

Do you think that we need a strong, smart, and principled student and youth movement that can mount an effective resistance to the right wing onslaught facing the US?

If you said yes, we're asking you to put your money where your mouth is.

Support the activist.

We're the only publication grappling with the political decisions facing youth and student activists. While publications like The New Republic decry the lack of focus and ideology of the new youth movement, we sit down, critique, engage, discuss, argue -- and forge productive alliances. While articles in The Nation are written by journalists who have had little, if anything, to do with the student movement, the activist is run by a mix of recent graduates who came of age just as the new movement took form and activists still in the fray.

It's not enough to just say that the new youth movement could be stronger and smarter; we have to build a movement that is.
