Call for Submissions: End of Decade Symposium

end

While nobody has come up with a good name for this decade yet (The Noughties? Really?), that doesn’t mean that we can’t look back and take stock of the craziness that was the first decade of the 21st century. The Activist is accepting reader submissions for 800-1000 word pieces that can address more or less any aspect of public life in the last ten years. We don’t need to know what went down during Spring Break 2006 on the Jersey Shore!

The deadline is December 18, and submissions can be sent to admin@theactivist.org.

  1. I’ve been calling it the zip decade for nine years now. Doesn’t everyone?

  2. I just don’t think it has a good name.
