It has become apparent that it has been at the very least wildly overstated, but more probably manipulated to the advantage of those seeking profit in alternative energy and carbon trading schemes and also to the advantage of governments seeking enlarge their own power. It has also caused the green movement to turn their energies away from real threats to the environment such as destruction of natural habitats, use of pesticides and the pollution of the air with particulates as well as the land and waters with dangerous chemicals and industrial waste. Please, let’s face it, all of us were mislead about global warming.
